Has anyone heard how many season tickets we have sold for 2014?

I'm taking a sabbatical from the game for various reasons...After the early bird deadline I received a letter from the club informing me the deadline for the early bird had been extended. Following that I had a phone call at home more or less pleading with me to renew the season ticket. I turned that down and then was offered a *partial* season ticket for a limited number of matches. Judging from all that I suspect the sale of the tickets hasn't gone too well.

oooooorrrr it's called marketing/customer engagement, had they not got in touch you* probably wouldv'e commented that you didn't renew your season ticket and the club didn't bother to get in touch, therefore they've cost themselves a customer.

Interesting that Leeds last year were the only club to increase their average attendance.

also heard that wigan are down on their sales ...id like to bet leeds are down on theirs for this season

Games on a Thursday will have an impact on supporters who work shifts or have childcare issues or school on the Friday. I'm sure all clubs will suffer due to this.

We heard all this with Monday night footy and there was no real impact on crowds. The championship has had Thursdays for a while now and other than games up in Cumbria it has generally had no effect.

this is the first season ive not got one. due to funds. but ive not had any calls or anything from the club trying to get me to buy one

Monday night football. If you or I don't go to watch our football team who sell out week in week out then there will always be someone else to fill that seat. Some Football clubs have a large number of tickets that can only be bought outside of the British isles. So let's get back on to SL Thursday night games where if I don't go people will be scrambling to vet my vacant seat. Forget it. Whilst at this time this is all opinion based, let's see what the attendance figures are like through the season.

Personally I wasn't too bothered about the changes when they were announced, as I'm pretty much of the opining, I'm going to a home match, I'll sort other stuff out as it happens, now the saintr game is around the corner, I'm now thinking, Shit, I'm gonna have to beg for the kids to stay over their grandparents, and I'm gonna have to do couch city as well.
