why? Rhys Evans played at the ball. It hit Ablett in the stomach and so play on.

Definite try for me.

Evans knocked it on into Ablett's belly (therefore free play), Ablett didn't touch it with his hands (so no knock on by him to make it first k-o scrum to Leeds; just play on) and they ran it through to score.

It was terrible terrible defending!

If the game isn't on Sky, that try isn't given. That's my only issue with it.

The video refs must surely have been on the plonk to give that.It is international beer day after all.

There is no way that the video was conclusive that Ablett didn't knock on. Probably was a try, but having been given as a no try then it really should have stayed that way.

Well, the ones they send up as 'X' "no try".

Mind you I've been on the plonk a few hours so my judgement could well be impairedicon_smile.gif

Agree about the lack of consistency, which has been an issue ever since video refs came in years ago. It was a definite try though.
