Anyone know who is NOT available for the salford game, i am led to belive ricky bibey will play but who else has had pre season op's that will keep them out ?? Maybe line up something like below

DC's and a couple of signings and that could be quite a tidy squad.

I agree with that and I expect our lads will give a performance that will raise eyebrows for the unbbeliever.

We could do with some centres.

i think taylor had an operation on his wrist and Littler has a knee injury or something to do with his leg?

Think this thread shows we definately need one or two more signings as well as 3 DC's. Starting 13 looks very good. Depending on how Brierly and McNally settle in, possibly as good or better than last year. But the bench isn't up to the same standard IMO. At the start of last year our bench was normally something like Mills, Thornley, Nash and either Govin/Robbie Paul. All good/very good players for us. Now we've lost all 5 of those players and need to try and get our bench for this season up to a similar standard.

We aren't far off, I think we just need to find maybe another centre and/or utility back and maybe one more prop as i'm unsure on Ostick and not sure where Gallagher's best position will be yet. Then strengthen with DC's we can rely on regularly and I can see us pushing for top 3 or 4 and maybe another day out in Blackpool. Playoffs are anyones guess as always.

Can't wait for saturday now, get a look at the new faces and just get back to supporting the Mighty Leythers!!

Hopefully the DC's come pretty soon because our pack isnt as big as last year! Lets just hope bibey stays away from injury.

ryan brierley hasnt signed for us according to the reporter

This is what the reporter says. “As yet we have not secured Ryan Brierly on loan from Castleford so he won’t be playing"
Now i take that as we havnt signed the registration papers until Trever barton arrives back from Holiday as mentioned on here on a previous thread so i think once the paper work as been sorted he will be coming.

Brierley mentioned on Twitter last night that he is now eligible to play on Saturday - not sure whether there would be any registration issues anyway for a friendly but not 100% on that.
