Not great today. Widnes wanted it more our line speed was poor and we lost the tick from the off.

Refereeing, although poor, was not to blame for that performance.

Ta'ai and Rapira our best performers for me. Could do with an injury update from the club soon. When are we going to get some bodies back?

wont win any games with so many players out injured, game was over at 16-0.

sooner we get some bodies back the better, hopefully crabtree and brough back next week but looks like it will be 4 losses on the trot this season, great start!!

ellis injury looked bad too

regardless of the injuries to me the worst performance in a long time seen more commitment and attitude in games ive watched at laund hill thot we came out for the start of 2nd half beaten before the kick off also connor again poor thinks hes better than he is worrying times ahead

Don't agree about foster- we could be bottom if not for him.
Leroy, Jerry, Murphy were very poor, Murphy had a mare in lots of ways - and foster was actually having to do much of the defensive organising - he was screaming at players out for position all the way through. He was at least having s go and his mistakes were all on the last play trying to do something off a poor kick.
Hinchcliffe didn't step up- we looked brighter with leeming on.

Apart from Rapira our experienced players let us down.

We looked knackered - This conditioning is killing us.

Playing so many players with so little experience at this level and having a first choice 1,6,7 and 2 props to say the least is killing us. Thought jerry did well to get the pass back to Bruno. We looked better when hinch AND leeming were on though. Certainly a lot of the experienced ones didn't step up, even though Ellis went off we didn't look great beforehand. It is going to be a long season as luck is not with us at the moment in terms of injuries.

We were just plain old crap today saw plenty of that last season. Let's get some bodies back and see where we are after that, safe to say we won't be winning anything thing unless there's a couple of serious signings.

Seriously though who would have thought 4 weeks ago that these 2 sides would be pointless going into this normally tough derby game?

Let's hope they have some extra medical staff on hand for that game eh. Nobody could of imagined a lot of results that's happened this season so far. Good for the British game. More than likely come the last round, the league will look more 'normal' and Leeds, Wigan or Saints will win the GF.
Sad fact but business as normal.

Although Childs didn't cost us this game I think , as usual , some decisions were totally inconsistent and if anything he's got worse (if that's possible from last season) Instance , the team are put on a warning and 10 mins pass and we awarded a penalty in the meantime then on the last tackle Widnes con him and he sends Mason (I think) to the bin . They score 16 points . Second half , we receive 4 quick pens and no team warning for Widnes ????? As I said he didn't cost us this game as we looked totally out enthused and outclassed today and losing Ellis didn't help and the sooner we get some bodies back the better cos it wont be the top four our aim but to stay out the middle 8's.
