E11 to Castle Bar Park then 5 minute walk, or

E7 to Scotch Common then a 4 minute walk.

From Perivale:

E5 to Cuckoo Avenue then a 12 to 15 minute walk.

I agree we could have done with nearer a tube station, but, there aren't actually that many suitable sites within walking distance of tube stations.

297 from Perivale drops you off at the bottom of Argyle Road (Scotch Common, as does the E2, E7, E9 and E10).

The 297 can be caught from Wembley Central, Alperton, Perivale or Ealing Broadway Tube Stations.

E2 can be caught from Northfields, Ealing Broadway tube Stations (also Brentford Network Rail Station).

E7 can be caught from Ealing Broadway, Ruislip and Ruislip Gardens.

E9 from Ealing Broadway.

Or indeed outside of walking distance it seems

The E10 can be caught from either Northolt or Ealing Broadway

E11 is caught from Ealing Broadway and deposits you in Copley Close (Castle Bar Park).

E5 will drop on the Ruslip Road East either at the Gurnell Leisure Centre or Cuckoo Avenue and it's more of a hike but can be caught from Southall Network Rail Station or a short walk from Perivale Station (Bus stop on the A40).
