I think even the Wire yobs will have difficulty making a major impact at Wembley. They had a pop at it in 1990, but no-one really remembers that.
A very difficult match to call, this one. It doesn't bode well for Wire that they simply switched off once they reached the final, whereas - on the evidence of the last weekend - Huddersfield haven't.
I saw that so many times during Wigan's winning run. The opposition would go into a shell once they'd made a final. Their fans would be celebrating and dancing congas all the way through other matches, regardless of the often poor results. Wigan rarely did. They knew that getting into a losing habit was not the way to prepare for a cup final.
I still expect it to be close, but if Warrington are anything less than totally focussed on the rugby rather than the occasion, I think Hudds will take it.

| Wire have conceded an average of 25 points a game this year.
They beat us in the semi yet shipped in 26. We scored 36 against them a week later and Wakey ran riot scoring 40 at the HJ last weekend.
All that against the best defence in the League by a mile (15).
Just can't see Wire winning it or coming close.
Hudds 32 Wire 12.

Even if you go back to the semi final weekend. Warrington did try their best to give Wigan the game in the second half whereas Huddersfield were superb for 80 minutes. Had they played each other that weekend Huddersfield would have won comfortably.
Huddersfield are the favourites but Warrington have a more than capable squad to win this as you say it is all down to Wire to see if they can handle the occasion.

David or Brett?
Seriously though I know we moan about but having too many Aussies in the game but when we get class ones like Brett it really only does good things for our game. Hes a superb player and would love it if he played for Wigan.

| Not really fussed about the score, I just hope it's a good game with a Giants win that'll do for me, 25-16 to Huddersfield if I had to say.
