Being in the play-offs and them missing out plus the fact we beat them at our place has half made up for it, but we would have to get to the grand final to make up for it fully. |

Well, as Wire fans on TotalRL are even now obsessing about Wigan RL being second-class citizens in their own town (with Wire's first Wembley appearance in 19 years less than 48 hours away!!!), I don't think they're in much of a position to whinge about the negative attitude of neutral clubs.
For what it's worth, I've no love for the Giants either. I didn't used to mind them, but that Cockney Giant prat who comes on here whenever we play them is a one-man bad publicity machine.

1 Giants fan doesn't speak for all of them though, I don't mind Fartown/Sheffield personally. I think they are producing some good rugby this year and I actually predicted them to finish in the top 4, didn't expect them to get to the CC final though and I can see them beating Wire as their defence is superb and have some good attacking players, more of a threat than Wire. |
