Not asking to be released from his contract and fancies giving the NRL another crack, he's proved in the internationals he's good enough. Good luck to him, let's just hope we get a suitable replacement lined up.

He's done us proud but he's always said he'd like to return to the NRL one day. He's certainly good enough anyway and I wish the best of luck to him.
Just hope he can finish off his time with a fantastic final season hopefully doing the double or triple!

Been massive for Wigan. An absolute giant tackler and magnificent play maker. The man IS rugby league. This season is going to be his swan song. Going to be his best season to date.

Good luck to him. He's been a joy to watch and is obviously a very honest and proper person.
We must sort out a replacement of the right quality. There is no excuse for us to be scraping around for somebody/anybody in 12 months time.

Definitely. Don't want to going into 2013 with a completely new half-back pairing. Think we'll definitely see Mellor get his chance this season too knowing this |

Will be disappointed to see him go - he's a great player in attack & defence, and will be very hard to replace. However, would echo what others have said - credit to him for seeing out his contract & wish him well in the NRL.
