| Many people will disagree with me here I'm sure but I thought he was our best player by an absolute mile last night, and has been for most of the season.
The way he runs the ball in combined with his quality of pass is something that not many second rowers possess.
I know he gives away penalties and has the odd daft moment but I'm willing to accept that for the bit of X Factor that he gives us.
I'd say he's right up there, if not better than where he was before his ban.
Superb. Destined for England mid season v Exiles, if not the best SR in Super League at present.

| He was the best player out there IMO, and cemented why he's the best backrower in the comp. Far too hot to handle at times. Westwood's good but Hock's better!

| Just wish we would instruct someone to follow him whenever he has the ball.
90% of his offloads that dont come off are his teammates fault IMO.

| I dont think anyone would disagree with the OP. In the past I have been as critical as anyone with Hock in regards to his discipline and brainfarts but I now realise that is part of the package and you will never change or completely eradicate it, as much as I would like to. On his day he is unstoppable and has been in great form this season and he adds something to our pack that the other forwards, no matter how solid and depenadable they may be, dont. He is a player that frightens the Aussies and should be a shoe in for the England team.

| Hock is world-class and can be anything he wants to be. One of the most talented forwards this club has produced.
Sadly though as good as he can be, he can also make some poor decisions. Under better coaching from an early age and he may have had that eradicated from his game.
Having said that he was still our most potent threat all night.

I don't agree woth this. I think for the first 30 minutes that Hock was almost unplayable. A non factor for the rest of the game though. Westwood is a consistent performer for most of the match. I think that is what seperates them to be honest. The main thing is that they're both english and great players.

| Thought Hock was outstaning last night.
From our point of view I was happier when he was off the pitch.

Not that many disagreeing, he's getting plenty MoM votes.

| Nope sorry don't agree.
Incredibly powerful and skilful but is too much of a risk. Gives far too much away to the opposition and I refer to the whole of this season in that, not just last night.
If I had a choice between him and a more reliable, solid 2nd rower like a Harrison Hansen - it would be Hansen all day for me.

| Hes one hell of a handful and some of his offloads you wonder how he gets the ball away. IMO hes starting to show signs of being better than before his ban.
