Upto now this season I would say:

Sam Tomkins - Good Season, creating all sorts of problems for oppostion one way or another
Josh - Very Good season, good defence, seems good under the high ball recently, top try scorer speaks for itself
Goulding - Very Good Season, very good defensively to me, good all round.
Pat - Good season when fit
Carmont - Good season, as per usual
Finch - Extremely good, get him signed.
Tommy - Good, as per, was worried he wouldnt be as committed with leaving but still solid.
Mossop - Very good season all round
MM - Extrememly good to me upto now, get him signed
Prescott - Good when fit
HH - Very good solid player, as per
Hock - Extremely good season upto now.
SOL - Good and solid, as per
Lauaki - Was worried about brain farts but have been few and far between, very good
Lima - Good season all round, no cards yet (touch wood).
Faz - Decent moderate upto now when I have seen him, which hasnt been loads granted.
Tuson - Moderate season from what seen.
Gelling - Really happy with him upto now, think he is playing well and looks to improve.
Gil - Happy from what seen, next few weeks should show.
Flower - Happy from what seen, looks to be improving.

Russell - seems to be doing well on load, looks promising.

Shaun Wane... Great job, glad to see that he is thus far confounding his critics. Unlike some i love the fact that he wears his heart on his sleeve. I'm sure other coaches will be trying to ape what he has done. (I used the verb form there

Ian Lenagan... Leading us in the right direction after years of neglect. Would love to know what he has up his sleeve with regard to salary cap and quota space, but i doubt we will get a much wanted announcement anytime soon.

If Prescott gets a good how does Lima not get an outstanding far and away our best and most consistant prop IMO

also cant see Jack Hughes who has been impressive when he has played

I think we are a better team under Wane than we were under Madge

Based on expectations for 2012. Some established players not at thier best and some players playing beyond expectations. No big name signings but the club have made the right call going off 2012 so far.

Tomkins 9/10 playing well but more to come
Charnley 7/10 still improving, will he be no1 kicker in future
Goulding 9/10 playing beyond expectations
Carmont 6/10 not playing as well as last year but not had a regular partner
Richards 5/10 not played enough this year
Finch 8/10 better than last season kicking game could be better
Leuluai 7/10 been more impressed with defence than attack, he always shows up for big games
Mossop 8/10 getting better and hopefully an injury free run
McLurom 9/10 one ofthe big improvers this year
Hansen 9/10 never stops and takes a lot of punishment
Hock 10/10 better than ever, he does have a wild pass, but fitter and more dynamic this season
O'Louglin 8/10 still leading by example

Lima 10/10 best prop in SL so far
Luaki 7/10 proving some wrong can get better
Tuscon 7/10 solid
Farrell 7/10 can do a lot more
Prescott 8/10 international prop if he stays fit
Hughes 8/10 stood up to test in big games, a stand in for now
Gelling 8/10 physically up to the task showing why he was signed
Dudson 7/10 not enough game time yet but has the makings of a SL prop
Flower 8/10 not let the team down and I can see why he was signed

I have been more impressed with the pack so far; the attack is best in SL but it can be better and that is a bad sign for other SL teams.

I think you maybe right if referring to Madge's final season. Last year never felt like we ever got going other than in the cup.

But better than Madge's first year at Wigan? We'll have to wait and see what we win. Because that was one hell of a season.
