Im being serious. How many times did we get into saints 30 metre area? It cant of been much more than twice?

Clubb, what the hell was you doing taking out Coote like that with the game well and truly lost? You should of been doing that in the first 10 minutes when he was allowed to play in slippers! If you're going to risk getting banned, at least make sure its on a play that could have an impact on the game.

This is not good enough. I want the whole pack on the weights non stop all week and eating nothing but large doner meat and chips every meal.

What’s more ridiculous; the title of the post or the last statement?

We could have had the new avengers as the pack and still wouldn’t have won tonight. Sometimes you just have to admit that the opposition were better.

Can you think of a game where we got into the opposition 20 less than tonight?

Admit the opposition were better? I think you can gather from my criticism that the opposition were obviously better.

They might of been better but its our job to be better than them not just roll over and say 'you're better than us'.

That performance was awful yes but worst ever? Come off it.

1) Defence; Our D was appalling. We didn’t even move off the defensive line most of the game and Saints just trundled it up making 10-15mtrs per tackle. No team will win a game with D like that. It was powderpuff and soft. There were times when I thought we were going to break out in a collective round of applause such was the lack of pressure we put on Saints, we just let them play, let them throw it around. It was ridiculous.

2) Attack; clueless, lethargic, no direction. Forwards weren’t good enough and barely hit the ball with any gusto to make yards. It took nearly 30mins for a forward to take a ball in in our own 20mtrs. The backs were doing the tough stuff. That’s forward turf. That’s the tough part of the pitch.

3) Clubb; acting the big I am hitting late off the ball a few times but where was that when we were defending? When Thompson or Walmsley were taking a ball in? It’s all well and good hitting a kicker off balance late but if you’re going to do that then you have to back it up with the tough stuff.

4) Tactics; if anyone can point them out go ahead. To me it seemed like a “whatever” type approach.

5) Willie Isa; poor game tonight. 3 tries went straight through him. It’s not all his fault, I hope that goes without saying but he can’t make those mistakes against St Helens and get away with it. I dare say he can’t against Salford either.

I posted a thread last week saying that we needed to improve or Saints would put us to the sword and regretfully I was right. If we play like that next week Salford will win. Simple as that. I didn’t expect to win tonight, nor do I expect to win the GF either but good god, we didn’t even put up a fight.

Terrible performance, Saints too good. Focus on next week, use the disappointment and then put it to Saints in the GF.

Can you think of a worse performance by a set of Wigan forwards?

I cant, i would love to see the total metres gained by each forward. Not only that, the amount of missed tackles by the forwards was shocking.

The better team won on the night. Yes admittedly we didn’t put up much of a fight and I suppose it’s that’s what hurts but hey ho as the song goes “ I get knocked down, but I get up again”

You're living in fantasy land if you think this set of forwards can 'put it to saints in the GF'.

Even last week it was only our backs that got us out of trouble. Mossop and Dudson were the best forwards on the field.
