After watching tonights game it appears your club have put the "away fans" in the stand where the camera box is! there seems to be a covered part of the terrace that could hold about 500 fans! If it rains only the 500 fans in the covered area would be saved from getting rained on" When did Wakefield"segregate" fans

Western terrace has been the away terrace for about 5years

Wasnt there a huge fight involving Wakefield fans and Widnes fans around 2012ish and thats the reason of the segregation?

No. It followed the installation of the North Stand. That became a gathering point for home fans and I think the 1st spot of trouble was v Cas.

Noticed Cas fans let a smoke bomb off tonight too.

Seem to recall they did last year too.

As much as I disagree with this entire thread...being in an open top stand is not an issue for me whatsoever.

This is wrong, away fans at Cas are free to stand wherever they please.

I thought the Wheldon road stand was season ticket only.

Yes there is, it's called the princess street stand .
That's were most away fans go especially if it's raining. If not then they chose to stand at the railway end.
