Truth is we have a slot to fill. One that we can chuck some money at even if not a fortune but why rush.

It won’t add to season ticket sales and it won’t add to any feel good factor because most Trinity fans are incapable of such an emotion, so why not wait till the last moment possible and sign the player when the terms most suit us.

I still think we will use the quota spot for a forward but WP is a nee coach so best not to second guess. Other than to say WP isn’t the sort to panic.

Sounds like he has a weight issue, we are not the club for those players in my opinion. I honestly believe that if you can't be fit in the NRL then you have even less chance in SL.

You can equally say that having a weight problem in NRL doesn't mean you have one here.
He's done alright in NRL. He's hardly being discarded.

Not really my point. Discipline and sports science in the NRL are at a higher standard, The Aussie climate is also more conducive for fitness. I feel it's a risk for a player with such a weakness to drop down to SL.

Could be a brilliant signing but Hickey and Pauli Pauli and dare I say big Dave stick out as players who have struggled.

I don't mind risks and I's accept this one but it is a worry.
