First home game vs Bradford Friday 15th March Kick off 8pm.

Was hoping games would be played on Sundays for the most part.

So, so predictable.

I was told about this last week and my source was correct even down to the date.. I suspect the opening game is Friday for opening of stand etc fireworks and make it an event.

That’s a test for first fixture but equally will be a packed home game.

I believe most games will as expected be Sunday.

Looks like Fev game 2 away.

I would have preferred to face Fev/Bulls after a few games in. With a relatively new squad it would have been nice to get a few games under the belt before facing the tough opposition (on paper).

Regardless, looking forward to them and the matches will be cracking openers.

If Premier Sports do resurrect themselves and pick up the Championship games, this would be ideal for switching to Monday night for broadcasting relaunch.

Opening game is 15th, Fev away on 29th. There should be a game in between unless it's a cup weekend.

Would probably take home attendances down though.

Tough start in the league, especially with such a new squad.

It certainly shouldn’t be far off that’s for sure. Especially if there’s some entertainment out on pre match.

Bradford should travel reasonably well and they will want to get one over on us early on.

I’m a realist, very down to earth and not prone to sensationalising or getting carried away with a moment.
Where I work there are at least 40 maybe 45 blokes who once were actively Wakefield Trinity supporters fanatics even, attending home and away, season ticket holders, avid purchasers of merchandise but somewhere along the road they lost interest and beyond a passing conversation they haven't been bothered about the club.
At least half of them have bought a season ticket for the coming season, I’m guessing that some of those who haven’t will go to a few home games for the first time in 10 or 11 years.

Somethings changed

TBF I think most games will be Sunday, I can live with this one, not least because the atmosphere at night should be amazing, as I reckon this will sell out.
