Is there a 24hrs time for people who want to retain east stand seat from last year's seat position ?

24 hours. You must be joking.

I expect it will be probably be till 1st December or 1st January to secure your seat before they open.

I can guarantee you it won’t be anywhere close to 24 hours.

Can’t see many people relinquishing east stand seats. The view and facilities are far better than the north where I stood 20+ years.

I’m very glad that I bought a seating season ticket in 2023 purely so I could select the best seats available in east. I’m never going to part with them for sure. I know a few who want to move to the east but getting seats together may be tricky if in groups.

Hopefully it sells out though for 2025. The atmosphere at the final in there was very good.

2nd November they go on general sale as was shown on one of the club graphics earlier, so gives a week for existing holders to secure there seats

That’s a lot shorter than I expected. Most people get paid monthly and not all end/beginning of the month. We aren’t talking about £20 here afterall but almost £300.

I’d have said 1st December would be reasonable covering and fans pay cycle in any part of month.

Luckily it won’t be an issue for me but I can imagine it will put some supporters in a situation.

Unless ofcourse the first payment doesn’t come out till end of Nov/Dec.

Trojan, Matt E, is not doing pay monthly, pay as you go, he knocked it in the head last season !

I thought on the podcast few days ago he said he was doing affordable price points and making it affordable so assumed that it would continue the instalments. Not heard any different.

Also, you may be confusing it with commit 6 which ended.

Are you thinking of the Commit six scheme we paid £26 a month, that one was discontinued when Mat took over.

I suspect they are confusing the two but we will see today.

I'm certain he said he was doing something to spread the cost.

I’d be amazed if there wasn’t the option for spreading the cost. I seem to remember Matt saying we are no longer desperate for the money upfront in the off season so paying monthly is now possible.

It's going to be interesting to see how the season tickets sell. A few people across SM already getting their excuses in regarding why they may not purchase.

Loss of regular Sunday games.
The club don't really need the cash upfront nowadays.

I'll be getting mine as per usually for convenience throughout the season including certainty of entry when there's a chance of a full house v some clubs.
I didn't buy any gear or replica shirt, other than the Matty Ashurst one, this year for the 1st time in decades.
The lack of the club "needing" our cash is, strangely, a bit of a loss and caused a slight bit of separation between club and fans imho.
