With about a third of the season gone, who would people put in their team of the season so far?

Mine may be a bit biased towards the black and whites, but i can only go on what I have seen at the KC or on TV. It's by no means a definative "Best Players" team, just who I have seen that has impressed me so far this season.

Tansey shouldn't be their neither newton.

Yeah i liked Mossop and also Brough. Tried to make it quite a balanced team aswell. I think Newton does his job really well and has a good balance of attack and defence. Im sure Tomkins could do a good job at 7. they are pretty similar positions now a days aren't they? Teams tend to sort out between the 6,7 and 9 who is doing what. I was looking at Hodgson for FB aswell but thought Tansey was more of an influence on us than the excellent Hodgson is for Hudds.

No 6 and 7 aren't the same.

7 the half back is mainly used at first receiver, 6 the 5/8th/ stand off is second.
