| If Hull have a goal kicking coach they need a new one. Sneyd has shown previously that he can be a good kicker but he looks really out of form at the moment. I know all last Sunday's attempts were from the touch line but he should have managed a couple - look at the quality of the kicking in the Current RU World Cup.
In addition, who will cover for him next season now that Rankin has left? Do any of the new recruits kick?

| No, unfortunately we aren't bringing in any goal kickers with these new signings, think I'm right in saying that none of them have ever kicked a single goal between them.

| He didn't kick a 40-20 all season either, I've being unimpressed with his kicking so far, both out of hand and place kicking.
Really needs to up his game in that dept for me.

Agree with this. Short kicking reasonable but long kicking and goal kicking has been disappointing.

Short kicking has been okay, very nifty at times in fact but that is almost the expected norm for a half-back these days.
If Adbul gets more game time I would expect him to be the one kicking long if we are under the pump deep in our own half and for 40-20s as well though much depends on how Radford uses him and Tuimavave as Carlos's best position is in the halves.
It's a bit of a worry his place kicking though (Sneyd), Tuimavave is a kicker, not sure when he was the last first choice but certainly at the warriors he pinged over a few.
As I said when Tickle went, get this sorted BEFORE pre season, get the main kicker and the back ups practising until they are sick of seeing the tee. If we are going to be closer in the games then losing due to average kicking is going to hurt even more if/when we lose.

I've been saying for long time now that his conversion rate from the wrong side of the field has been very poor and why on earth haven't we used Rankin for that side that favours the right footed kicker. It's not rocket science. It might have won us the game against Catalans.
Believe he probably has altered his style, not turning his back to the posts, to try and improve his kicking successes . I think it has to be a confidence thing. Also us making such a bad start to the game put him under more pressure.

Lost count how many on here didn't want luke gale when we was chasing him stating he wasn't good enough. How many people would swap him for sneyd if given the choice.l like sneyd and do think he will come good but would of preferred gale. This is not in hind sight as I was hoping we could of made a move for him when he was at London. Stood out massively for them
