Watts has been fantastic for us in the second half of the season particularly. There are some good choices in there, though. Perhaps more beneficial for us for him to have a full pre season here rather than risk injury under McNamara.

If Cuthbertson cant get into the squad then there is no chance for Liam Watts even though he had a good season.

Is it shocking that no Hull FC player made the squad? I would say that Watts making the squad would have been touch and go, a nice surprise if it had happened. Not sure anyone else was likely?
