Looking at the players it could be early 80's. Looking at Odsal it could be yesterday.

Always remember that photo from Alan's barber shop on chesnut lodge, i loved that place even though it was a smoke fest.


Bring back al's barbers!

When the next tenant took over they apparently threw out a lot of old memorabilia that was left behind.

Hear, hear! I take it Al is still going strong then? Not seen him with his stick down Liverpool Rd for a long time.

There was a similar photo taken in 1977 at the home fixture between Widnes and Bradford Northern, which was also Ray Dutton's testimonial game. Great days.

Maybe they did drink a fair bit, but with a pack of Mills Elwell Shaw Dearden O'Neill and Adams, we wouldn't lose many fights.
