Paul Cooke has been shortlisted for the Championship One player of the season, along with Graeme Mattinson of Workington and Liam Harrison of Barrow.

Tony Miller is up for Coach of the Year, along with Joe Mbu and Clive Griffiths.

Think we hace very good chances of both of them.

The nominations for this year's Co-operative Championships Awards have now been confirmed.

In Championship One, the Player of the Year award will be contested by our very own Paul Cooke, Liam Harrison of Barrow Raiders and Graeme Mattison of Workington Town while the Young Player of the Year award will be chosen between Workington duo Dave Peterson and Elliott Miller along with Barrow's Ryan Shaw.

Dons head coach Tony Miller is up against Joe Mbu of London Skolars and Clive Griffith of North Wales Crusaders to win the Coach of the Year award this season.

The winners will be announced at the Co-operative Championships' annual dinner which will be held in Leeds on Tuesday 25th September.
